Your questions

Some clear answers.

If you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to reach out — an adviser will get back to you.

How many hours per week can I teach?
It depends on available assignments in your area and your availability. Some of our tutors teach 3 hours a week, others 25. We build your schedule together.
How is my hourly rate determined?
Your adviser sets the rate after your interview, based on your profile and the levels you teach. The rate is clear from the first lesson.
When do I get paid?
At the beginning of the month following the lessons given, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
What happens if a student cancels a lesson?
Late cancellations are covered by our policy. Your adviser will explain the rules during the interview.
Can I decline a student?
Yes. A match works both ways — if the student isn't the right fit, let us know and we'll introduce you to another one.
Can I teach both online and in-person?
Yes, if you're based in one of our 9 hub cities (Dubai, Singapore, London, Geneva, Berlin, Kuala Lumpur, Warsaw, Bucharest, Sydney). Otherwise, you'll be part of our Online team.
Do I need to be in a specific country to apply?
No. You can apply from anywhere in the world, as long as you can teach online.
Will I sign a contract?
Yes. Every tutor signs a service agreement with the Axiom Academic entity in their region (Middle East, Singapore, UK, Switzerland, etc.). Details are provided during the interview.
